We have an active unit of United Women in Faith at Forest Hill. We are women organized for mission, and we are involved in mission both locally and globally. We invite ALL women of the church to join us!
 

CHURCH WIDE HANDS-ON MISSION PROJECT & ICE CREAM SOCIAL

WHERE? Forest Hill UMC, Fellowship Center

The United Women in Faith and Missions Team are hosting a hands on mission project to assemble & pack UMCOR Hygiene Kits. How can you help? Give the gift of your presence at the packing party – we want as many to attend as possible. After we assemble and pack the kits, we invite all to stay for an ice cream social/celebration. Throughout August and September leading up to the event, we will be collecting donations of supplies and/or monetary gifts with a goal of sending 200+ Hygiene Kits to UMCOR. Displays and fliers with items needed and collection baskets will be available at both services. You may also donate through the offering plate (mark envelopes “Hygiene Kits”) or donate online with the “UMCOR Hygiene Kits” drop down.

Membership in United Women in Faith is open to all women who seek to be a part of a supportive community committed to the UWIF PURPOSE. Members may participate in one of our small group circles or, if unable to participate that way, may be members at-large. Our circles have varied meeting times that provide opportunities for women with different schedules. Over one hundred fifty women at Forest Hill are members of United Methodist Women.
