I grew up in Mineral Springs, NC for most of my life. I graduated from Pfeiffer University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts and from Emory University in 2007 with a Master of Divinity. I have been married to Chris for 19 years and we have a household of girls. My three girls are Madelyn(16), Rachel(14), and Emily(10). We live in Stanfield on a farm with many animals including cats, rabbits, goats, chickens, and donkeys. I enjoy being outdoors with my animals, spending time with my family, reading, and cooking/baking! My family are huge Disney fans so we enjoy anything that is Disney as well.
I have worked with children for over 15 years during my career at both schools and churches. Engaging children and families in a learning environment has been an integral part of my career. I love Jesus and have a strong passion for teaching that I look forward to sharing with Forest Hill Bilingual Preschool. Working with preschool children and families is a true passion of mine. I believe that each student is special, and look forward to spending time with each student as we learn while having fun together. I am committed to providing a place where children and families can grow together in their faith as well as experience God’s presence in their lives.
I look forward to meeting each and every one of you very soon. I am excited about learning how I can best support you throughout this school year and many more to come!

4’s Lead Teacher
Cristina loves children and loves to teach! One of her favorite things is coming up with new ideas for her students to learn. She also enjoys being outside in God’s creation. Cristina loves veggies and eating healthy as well.
¡Esta es la Sra. Cristina que es la maestra principal en nuestra clase de 4 años de edad! A Cristina le encantan los niños y le encanta enseñar. Una de sus cosas favoritas es encontrar nuevas ideas para que sus estudiantes aprendan. También le gusta estar al aire libre en la creación de Dios. Cristina ama las verduras y comer sano también.
Grace Hamilton
3’s Lead Teacher
This is Ms. Grace who is the Lead Teacher in the 3 Year Old Class! This is Grace’s fifth year teaching preschool and she absolutely loves it! She lives with her husband of 11 years and their two awesome kiddos – Everly and Cohen. She is excited about teaching at Forest Hill Bilingual Preschool and can’t wait to what this school year brings!
Esta es la Sra. Grace, la profesora principal de la clase de 3 años. Este es el quinto año que Grace enseña preescolar y ¡le encanta! Ella vive con su marido de 11 años y sus dos kiddos impresionante – Everly y Cohen. ¡Ella está entusiasmada con la enseñanza en Forest Hill Bilingual Preschool y no puede esperar a lo que este año escolar trae!
Jennifer Vigueras
2’s Lead Teacher
Jennifer is a Mexican-American raised in North Carolina for most of her life. She loves family time and being outdoors! Jenni graduated from high school in 2021. In 2021 she also graduated from Rowan Cabarrus Community College cosmetology school. She was a volunteer in her church, St. James the Greater Catholic Church as a Sunday school teacher. That’s where she discovered her love for teaching young, bright minds!
Jennifer es una mexicano-americana criada en Carolina del Norte durante la mayor parte de su vida. Le encanta pasar tiempo con su familia y estar al aire libre. Jenni se graduó de la escuela secundaria en 2021. En 2021 también se graduó de la escuela de cosmetología Rowan Cabarrus Community College. Ella era voluntaria en su iglesia, St. James the Greater Catholic Church como maestra de escuela dominical. ¡Ahí es donde descubrió su amor por la enseñanza de las mentes jóvenes y brillantes!
Lupita Tello
3’s Assistant Teacher
Lupita was born in Mexico and has been married for 23 years. She has three children – Lauriel 20 years old, Franco 18 years old and Mariana 9 years old. Lupita graduated from University of San Luis Potosi with a Bachelor degree in Business Management. Forest Hill has been my church and I have volunteered here for over 12 years. It is a pleasure to now be part of the bilingual school and be able to teach 3 year old children.
¡Hoy conocemos a la Sra. Lupita que es la Asistente de Maestra en la clase de 3 años! Lupita nació en México y ha estado casada por 23 años. Ella tiene tres hijos – Lauriel 20 años, Franco 18 años y Mariana 9 años. Lupita es licenciada en Administración de Empresas por la Universidad de San Luis Potosí. Forest Hill ha sido mi iglesia y he sido voluntaria por más de 12 años. Es un placer ahora ser parte de la escuela bilingüe y poder enseñar a los niños de 3 años
Madisyn
2’s Assistant Teacher
Madisyn loves working with children. In addition to nannying for several years, she has experience tutoring, private dance, and art instruction. Originally from Buffalo, NY, Madisyn grew up in the Raleigh area before coming to Charlotte for college. She graduated from UNCC with bachelor degrees in Business Management and French. Her favorite sports team is the Buffalo Bills; when she is not cheering them on, she enjoys listening to music, reading, and art projects!
A Madisyn le encanta trabajar con niños. Además de ser niñera durante varios años, tiene experiencia como tutora, profesora particular de danza y arte. Originario de Buffalo, NY, Madisyn creció en el área de Raleigh antes de venir a Charlotte para la universidad. Se graduó de UNCC con licenciaturas en Administración de Empresas y Francés.
